Following on from the articles on the 1902 Concours de Bicyclettes de Tourisme, Monsieur Perrache now writes the third of four articles about the 1905 Concours de Bicyclettes de Voyage. Just like the 1902 Concours, the 1905 version was another of the crucial events in the history of the development of the bicycle as we know it.

This article is the first half of the Rapport Général, and contains a vast amount of information about the various transmissions of the time. Crucially it contains a brief description of Terrot Modèle H derailleur system.

As an aside, scan 15 has a pleasant image of a surprisingly modern looking quill pedal.
