I think that this patent describes the final incarnation of the Falcon/AutoBike/LandRider design for a centrifugal, automated, derailleur. I can't comment on the text (because I cannot read Chinese), but the drawings, here, also appear in a US patent applied for by 'David Chang' in June 1998. This Taiwanese patent was applied for by 'Lv-Yi Cheng' in May 1997. The, later, US patent makes absolutely no reference to this Taiwanese patent.

I do not think this, more refined, design ever made it to market.
