This sticker is so sentimentally patriotic that you almost want to have a crisply uniformed Gene Hackman fold it up into a shape curiously reminiscent of a somosa and hand it, graveside, to the inevitably tearful-but-proud widow of a US Marine (Denzel Washington). Of course later on in the movie it will turn out that Gene had Denzel ruthlessly murdered because... I must have been out of the room at that point fetching another bottle of beer... but I do know people who have watched so many of these films that they can imitate the sounds of a Black Hawk and an AK47 just using their lips.
