This catalogue dates from June 1990. This was a point of great turbulence in the history of Campagnolo - and I am very unclear about many of the part numbers. I am also a touch unclear about which models were available in 'graphite' and which were available in 'black'. I do remember that Campagnolo were mysteriously insistent that the two should not be confused.
Some of the changes since the various last catalogues include:
- Record gets 8-speeds and the slant-parallelogram design borrowed from Euclid. It has a cable adjuster
- C-Record is available in the, very alluring, Century finish.
- Croce d'Aune also gets 8 speeds and the slant-parallelogram design borrowed from Euclid. It also has a cable adjuster and is available in polished or graphite finishes.
- Athena is available in graphite finish.
- Xenon is available in black finish.
- Euclid gets a cable adjuster and is available in polished or graphite finish.
- Centaur also gets a cable adjuster and is available in polished or graphite finish.
- Olympus is introduced as a cheaper mountain bike group (although I remember it as still being fiendishly expensive). The derailleur has steel pulley cage plates.
I am unsure what the real differences are between the Euclid and Centaur rear derailleurs.
